Project Overview
As a premier play ground equipment manufacture with a robust internal and external sales team spread across the country. BCI Burke was in need of an update/upgrade for there sales portal. We redesigned and rebuilt everything from the ground up to bring the technology up to date and vastly improve the user experience in tandem.
The Problem Statement
With an ever growing sales team the outdated technology and sales system was in much need of refresh. As the business continues to grow, the antiquated system was holding back a zealous team.
Prototyping
After doing extensive interviews with multiple user groups and assessing the business needs, as well as reviewing the current application. I built non-functional prototypes to flesh out the user flow/user experience.
User Testing
Using the prototypes I lead discovery sessions with a sample set of users as well as a the internal management team to make sure each feature satisfied the entire sales funnel. From the external sales perspective we built an entire process showing the end customer inspiration, through the sales cycle as well as tracking progress though out. Internally, we built a tool focused on streamlining efficiency while ensuring proper communication from the design phase all the way through to shipment and installation.
